It was lovely chatting to my Mum today, both sitting in our gardens enjoying the peace and quiet and the sun! My Mum at 83 is getting very good with her ipad and we were discussing the word trolling.

My Mum said I assume it is not one of those ugly doll thing you all had as a kid......

So at the end of our chat on this Mum came up with her old saying and I did my one

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all (Mum)

• Kind Speech Isn't a Side Dish – It's the Meal (me)

I so love kind speech and positive speech so much nicer than being a troll. Or as my hubby says you like being in the sun you don't like the darkness. He is my dark side to my light I replied!

Positive thoughts to you all and I do love my Mum being so sassy with her ipad!

Just had a smile sylvi as I read you post on first glance and thought it said I have adopted Captain Tom Moore! :-) Then I read it again properly.....mind you I think there would be a few people wanting to adopt him as he seems such a lovely chap x

He's a chap I would love to sit down with and have a cup of tea and good old chat with. He's got a good and fighting spirit within.

The world would be boring if we were all the same.... is my saying also one of mine ... ones opinion is not always right being individual brings variety

It's refreshing to hear that your mum is up for using her ipad and how nice to be able to sit in your gardens and still have that time together using familiar phrases and good old banter. x

Thank you Deeb. Your mum is so right. That's why I never talk about politicians.

Awww bet that was quality time with your Mum, a good chat and laugh best medicine around. Good on her tackling modern technology.

My everyday saying is, “Tomorrow’s another day” stay safe and well 🌈🌈🤗X

Aww this made me smile. How lovely that you can keep on touch via technology. I wish I could get my mum the internet. She has a tablet (not an ipad) but no wifi. If I got a sim 4 an old phone of mine she wud prob use all the data in 1go lol. So upsetting that she alone at this time.
