Tried a new recipe for work as they need easy cakes as they stress about making them. This was easy in my 📖

Yummy, chocolate cake!

I got frozen chocolate cake out of my freezer; baked it to the Shipton’s Mill spelt cake recipe, very moist and delicious.

Going to assemble my home made chocolate trifle with it. Also managed to get an Iceland delivery early this morning (6-8am slot is not sought after, lol) so have roasted potato wedges and carrots; ready just to reheat when wanted.

I like baking much more than cooking but don’t bake much as I will gobble it up!

Me being me created a challenge so my next task is to create an Easter bonnet for our non-mandatory retail meet on zoom on Monday. I have Damien Hurst and Tracey Ermin theme lined up with birds and flowers , now got to figure out how to put it all together!

Love the cake Deeb, I'd ask to put that kettle on again but with these measures in place I have the choice of is this considered a daily form of exercise....well I would jog there and back as it looks tasty. To collect medicines.....well a slice of this would be purely 'medicinal' or to drop off something for a vulnerable person....I think you may be vulnerable of too much of a good thing or if you ate this alone.... or with hubby so feel you may need assistance and I can drop off a plate, fork and serviette any time!! Joking aside it looks good and this new recipe looks a success for work and no doubt will do well. xx

Looks lush! We made hot cross buns today (just 4 - flour shortages) but we've eaten them all before I could get a picture, ...which is just as well as they weren't a patch on your instagram-ready chocolate extravaganza there!
