Do you feel like this 😢
I think things like physical therapy can help. I know all my "rest" helps in some ways, but I think we need to make sure we do yoga or other approved excercises to keep from weakening. Your doc might be able to refer you. Good luck!
If you suddenly do something unusual your RA will react. But, if your body is used to stretching and movement then the RA will be more kind to you.
Pilates or Yoga help keep you ready. Keeping moving is as important as rest. Do them in equal measure.
Hi Baby-Lily... yes I find anything outside my normal routine sets something off. It never use to but this year my RD hasn’t and still isn’t controlled seeing Rheumatologist next week and see if this is now the routine or that my disease is more active. I goodnight out normally means I suffer for a few days so now I pick and choose if I’ve a busy week ahead I don’t go out.🥺🥺
Oh yes, the next day can be telling how limber we are. I think Brushwork has it right, your joints will complain if those affected are less used or supple because of lack of exercise. The same goes for muscles, stretching helps & in keeping muscle tone too. You don't need to do anything specific, just dance around, you'll exercise those joints & muscles you used whilst dancing at the party & which ache this morning.
Good advice and tips above wish you luck!
Sadly yes, you will figure out your limitations.
