So lovely that lots of my neighbours were out clapping for our amazing key/front line people tonight. Last week there were not many on my little crescent. Was lovely that more of us were out tonight and got to say hi across our fences. 👏👏❤️

A better turn out here (although could be better) and the clapping and cheering sort of came around in a wave from the other streets too. Glad there were more of you in your neighbourhood tonight. x
Lots of people out where I live tonight, and a piper too. Very heart warming.
We did in our close as well last night.xxx
I can't clap so I bang a saucepan with a wooden spoon.
Same here! Last week my neighbour joked that ‘the rag and bone man he man was coming ‘ but this week he had an old tin dog bowl and a spoon. I had a whistle this week. It is a sociable occasion as we all shout to each other over the street.
We owe all of those brave people so much don’t we.
It does seem to be gathering momentum the longer time goes on & they’re even more appreciated. More out clapping & banging saucepans too here & we live on quite a long road not a cul de sac. Could hear them more in surrounding roads too & more fireworks (which whilst I understand why I'm not sure is necessary, it spooks our dogs).
Very uplifting to hear all the support here too, 👏👏👏we have never relied on these services as much as we have now. My Daughter and Grandaughter are key workers and I worry so much about them.🤗x

I’m not surprised that you worry. I look at all those people who are cheerfully working hard to keep the country running and think we owe them a great debt and a huge amount of respect. They are very brave. 👏🏻👏🏻
