Off topic - Tues

Well tomorrow is road trip day so taking my assistant and off we go to RSPB Titchwell for a site visit, coffee and cake checks, optics checks comparing what we do and they do. Then on to Back to the Garden a lovely farm shop and cafe further south for a look at their products and local ideas. Here I am treating her to lunch due to the fact she has stepped up a lot to cover my work in the past 6 months.

Then on to Downham Market and a local bakery we are going to start using - first items hot x buns for the cafe.

Back to work for 430 and a cuppa then home! Think tomorrow is going to be a good day no matter the weather.

It is a relaxing work day and one where we can look compare and scoff food, so such a TOUGH day but a rare occurance so going to enjoy it.!

Lovely day had bluberry cake with cream cheese frosting to share whilst we disucssed menus pricing and the optics they had. Then a lovely drive to Back to the Garden lots of oohs and ahhs over the local brands and checking packaging being eco/sustainable/biodegradeable and then palm oil free etc.

Followed by a spot of lunch and WOW sourdough made on site topped with half an avocado charred with baby tomatoes, kale and spinach and 2 beautifully poached eggs. AT had lentil beetroot dhal with chapati and mint yogurt.

Downham was given a lovely selection of rolls and hot cross buns so back to the office for tea and bun.

Got home shattered and very full of food!
