off topic Christmas cake.

This is what you get when a five year old says I’ll help Nanny ! Frozen snow flakes abound. She rolled out, pressed out and put in place. Then off to see the tractor parade and party. Today it’s a rest and recover day. Tomorrow the family arrive and as I’ve cut my finger quite badly on a sharp bread knife I’m just not going to be able to peel potatoes so being walking wounded has an advantage. lol It didn’t hurt as the knife was really sharp but the blood was copious. Silly me.

Oh that is lovely! I’ll bet she had a lovely time doing it and is really proud of her work. Enjoy the tractor parade.

Your poor finger but at least you have reinforcements arriving and you can put them to work - you could even exaggerate and make your injury last for the whole festive period. 🎄

Wonderful looking cake, making lovely memories for her. Hope your fingers not too painful today. Enjoy the R&R today. I’ve got dessert to make, which is double chocolate roulade with raspberries and pistachio, other than that it’s feet up 🤪👍.
