Good news : No latent -TB it must have been a mix up in... - NRAS
Good news
Great news ... I’m not on the same Biologic as you but you should feel some benefit after 4 weeks but not full benefits until 12 weeks so I was told. Yes by 4 weeks stiffness and swelling much better over heating at night much improved as was my energy levels.....then I got a chest infection 🥺🥺now no meds for the last 2 weeks and symptoms returning. Can’t wait to start again.. even for the small improvements I was getting made the difference .
Hope it works for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thank You I hope so to , thank god for medicines and the nhs they have been absolutely amazing with me I can’t thank them enough . I didn’t realise how an illness like this can dramatically change yr life and the lives of loved ones around you .
Glad your you’ve got friends again!
Don’t expect any side-effects Buckybri.....they are not a certainty.
just make sure you eat well, keep well hydrated & possibly keep off the booze until you are settled on the drug.
Fingers crossed its all plain sailing for you and that everything goes well.
Thank you I don’t drink now anyway so that’s not a problem , So do I use suntan lotion everyday , I take it I just use it in exposed areas , I will smell like coconut everyday
Because it’s winter I’m covered and wear gloves but I definitely wear it on my face.... got to get in to the habit of wearing it when weather gets warmer.. shame we don’t get it on prescription 🥺🙄🙄another expense added to the list since being diagnosed
Yea it’s not cheap is it . But the plus side it reminds me of hols
Aldi, Asda & Superdrug SPF30 sun lotions all passed both UVA & UVB tests & cost under £3.
I used Aldi in the Canary Islands last year ...it had no strong scent,& I had no problems at all.
But it is a case of trial and error. At this time of year I would only bother putting sun protection on my face..but I do have Skin type 3 & never burn in the sun..... But that didn’t stop me getting a basal cell carcinoma-skin cancer......few years ago.
But I did have a misspent youth....a very long time ago in very hot countries when suntan lotions were not as well researched as they are now.
I don't know about imraldi but 👍for no TB.
That is good news! 🙂 I had Amgevita (adalimumab) which I think is also in Imraldi? Not affected re sun protection required, apart from my normal use during sunny weather.
Hope you have no side effects and the drug works for you.
