I have already posted a while ago on this community but I wanted to get some more information as to why my knee’s start to become inflamed and red as seen in the photo I’ve attached. It usually happens when I’ve been resting for too long. My knees simultaneously start to become warm and become red but I don’t understand why the redness leaves a gap across the middle of my knee cap. Does anyone else have experience with this?
For some background info, I haven’t been diagnosed with RA or any other related issues thus far as my blood markers have been negative for most things but I am still under the consultancy of a rheumy and will be seeing them again in the new year.

Have they looked into any other auto immune conditions? Sometimes the bloods don't always come back showing inflammation or signs of RD. It took a little while for my diagnosis. Again have they considered anything else? I really hope you get to the bottom of what it is. Sending my best wishes.
We can’t know why this is happening so I would do as AC says and take photos and also keep a diary to show your rheumy when you see them. The more information you can provide for them the better they may be able to help find out the cause 😊
