Arghhhh

So had surgery to mend together my broken wrists, four weeks ago and to be honest, like most of us, I’ve been through numerous surgeries so was feeling just a wee bit sorry for myself- thank you to all of you here, who helped cheer me up.

However, last week, I seemed to ya be picked up a cough- roll through to Sunday and I was taken in blue light ambulance to hospital; couldn’t catch my breath.

Still in hospital and will be so until at least Friday. Lots of tests and so far, it seems to be a lung infection but they’re not certain?

Anyway, again just feeling sorry for myself and perhaps some reassurance that this does all stop, at some point 😢

Thank you. I just keep telling myself, worse things happen. Usually that works- just every now and then, I feel a little fed up with it all.

Oh you poor thing I was rushed to A&E on Tuesday with a similar infection I managed to escape the same day with massive dose of antibiotics. I’m on the mend ish and taking it easy I can’t imagine how pants you must be feeling you’ve really got my sympathy I know how you feel but obviously not with your poorly wrists too. Sending you a hug hope you manage to escape soon.

Thanks I’m distracting myself with rubbish TV which I don’t normally watch but it seems to be doing the trick. I dislike being in hospital at anytime but it sounds like you’re in the best place with your infection I bet they sort you out quickly I think I would have been better with iv antibiotics instead of pills which are massive my husband joked that they looked more like suppositories than antibiotic pills. Hope you make a quick recovery.

I've only just seen this Marie & checking back I missed your previous post completely! Hecky peck, what a to do. I feel for you, not only recovering from surgery but to then get a lung infection, greedy! Seriously, I know from experience how painful anything lung related can be so I hope you're being made comfortable.
