I take my MTX early on a Monday. I literally soak my pillows and now have a towel under my head when I go to bed, plus the duvet cover gets wet as does the sheet. I thought it might have been because of the hot summer.. bit nope. Been up a few times changing pillows in the night, having a cuppa to dry off. The night sweats are cold sweats I ve noticed...

This is bothering me as I don't understand what the problem is. I've had RD for 32 years and on MTX for a lot of that time. I never used to get hot or cold sweats, even when going through the menopause. But this last year, I too wake up soaking with sweat. Confused.com
I dunno, it is horrible to feel the sheet being soaked. I ve only been on mtx since may. My first prescriptions were from hospital and had a branded Methotrexate. My gp took over prescribing 6 weeks ago and now am on a cheaper generic. I thought the sweats were linked to the summer heat but me partner has confirmed its worse on a Monday and Tuesday. Its a horrible cold clammy sweat. It seems to be quite common but i dont like it. If i have a bad night tonight i ll try get a gp appointment tomorrow. Due to pressures my next rheumatology appt is on feb 24th with no blood test until then prob.
Good luck with your GP if they are anything like mine they won’t have a clue just send you for a blood test.
I think you might have hit the nail on the head with generic / Branded tablets. I know several people on other meds who have had trouble with different “brands” of meds. Is there a reason why they are cheaper????? Me thinks so.
