Flu, upper respiratory infection and prednisone

I am obviously in a bad flare. No identifying reasons such as stress. I also have come down with some kind of upper respiratory infection of a cold, flu, or a viral infection. My question is can you be treated with prednisone or some other dmard while Yusuf have the infection? Thanks to all.

There is no single answer as so much depends on you, your overall general health, the type of infection, the severity of the infection and so on. Most people can carry on with DMARDs with a mild infection, but sometimes it is not advised. The decision needs to be made by your doctor who know your medical history. Prednisone is similar if on just a small dose.

I got a cold too but still take the prednisolone no problem might take a few days longer to go but thats all really. Worst time of year to get a cold, one minute freezing next its roasting. Got a load of lemons in and chesty cough to feed. I have rescue pack of antibiotics in the cupboard but not needed as its a virus still as no sign of green gunk.
