I had a cracked tooth and got a crown six months ago. After several months my tooth started to hurt. Then Jan 24th I had a root canal. I have had pain since then tenderness, sensitive etc. It's not Feb 18 and I went back today and started an antibiotic so then can go back I. And see what the problem is. For the past week I have had knee pain..no injuries just aching pain and connection

Knee pain following root canal
Suggest you phone the help line at your Hospital Rheumatology Department ASAP as they will be able to advise you
Kind regards
If your knee continues to be painful for no apparent reason I would think your first step would be a visit to your GP and see what they say and what investigations are necessary. I sincerely hope that it's just one of those strange things our bodies can do to us
I agree with Gnarli. If the knee pain has started without any known cause or continues, plus you also have redness & swelling (inflammation) then off to your GP. If any other joints join in too, same symptoms, then see your GP. Hopefully though it's just one of those things & it will settle.
The trouble is sometimes if we see our GP too soon if we suspect something unusual going on it's too early. I waited a month after my symptoms but my GP was a GPSI Rheumatology, not all GP's are clued up on arthritis in it's early stages. As I say though if it continues then do see yours & maybe he'll order a full blood test (includes inflammatory markers).
