Hi thanks all for this site it’s answered a lot of questions for me and I did what you said and kept trying to get appointment and after 4 months I managed to find the consultants secretary and I’m going today ! Last appointment in October when I had x rays and bloods so hopefully get some answers ! I do identity with stress bringing in a flare and I have to deal with stressful people situations at work most days . It’s hard to not worry and I have pain in my arm and hand that keeps me awake ! And I’m sure my knees are taking it in turns !

Thanks all again and hopefully I will get some answers and time to ask today !

That's good. I hope your Rheumy can help explain why you've not responded as well as you could have. He may want more bloods, imaging, may even change or add meds & such so don't be disappointed if you don't get all the answers today. I hope he can do something to make you more comfortable though. Let us know how it goes?

Well it was a good appointment ! They apologised profusely for missing me off the list for review! Clerical error . Made sure I asked loads questions . Told thankfully that it has been caught early no damage yet done and once the medications work hopefully all will continue ok . Got put on methotrexate once a week and folic acid fingers crossed that I get some pain relief ! They went through side effects and gave me lots of information . Also had another steroid injection so hopefully when that kicks in I will be able to sleep better . Got another appointment in 3 months for doctor and then nurses in 6 weeks . Got all the contact numbers and e mail addresses in case of further appointment fiasco ! Feeling more positive 💉💊
