Fed up

Elswick, Noooo! Don't say that sweetheart. This is the best place for you to be when your feeling low. We need you! RA, Hysterectomy and a tooth out!! Jeez! Perfectly understandable how your feeling. Do you have someone to look after you? All of these things take time to recover from and can cause havoc with your emotions. Have a good cry if you can, it does help. Have you got good pain relief? Elswick, you have gone through a huge operation. I'd be crying my eyes out getting a tooth out never mind an op too! Please stay with us. Read Nettie's post it will make you laugh! Lots of love and hugs your way! Xx
You are feeling pretty bad right now, but you will have better days and who's to say that you won't brighten someone's day by your prescence on here. To share our bad times as well as the better days is to help us realise we are not alone. XXX
It is also for moments like those that this forum exists.
You can be sure that loads of us have been in the same place as you from time to time.
Things seem so dark and the pit so deep. The struggle seems too hard.
But stick with it and look up out of the darkness sharing with those who have clambered up again. IT IS WORTH IT.
Hi Elswick, so sorry you are so battered emotionally and physically just now. It will pass as everything does.
I had a full hysterectomy along with three other procedures (2 hours major surgery) but it was before RA (might have triggered it).
I’d not want that plus RA plus a tooth out all concurrently!
I hope you have friends and family to shower you with some TLC. You deserve it!
Hang in. We all benefit from knowing we are not suffering alone and others here understand. X
Stay stay stay. As said its timezs like this we need each other. I so feel for you. As you know things pass (thats what im hanging onto) so take care. Thinking of you.
Hang in there!!! Give yourself a break!
You are living with a wretched disease, you've undergone major surgery........and then a tooth extraction on top!!
You aren't superwoman...sorry but it's true. Please be kind to yourself.....and don't beat yourself up for not coping with the uncopeable.
I'm amazed that you even had the energy to post. Time for a bit of you time, a bit of cossetting, pjs, duvet and tv come to mind. Everything else will have to wait You need some strong t l c.
You take care....and no sneaking off!! xx
Please stay Elswick, this low period will pass. I hope you had some sleep last night , do let us know how you feel today ?
Feeling much the same as you Elswick 😘 Knowing that you’re not alone really helps, so don't ‘disappear!’ Sending hugs & positive thoughts to you...xx
oh that's bad, poor you, no wonder you feel sorry for yourself ! Stay right here, you can take help for a change rather than giving ....it what we are here for ...giving and taking.
Sending virtual hugs, hope you feel better soon !
Yes do stay we all have bad days or worse weeks but to share does help. Since I have joined I realise there are always some much worse than me which is somehow a consolation makes me think battle on. Hope you had keyhole for the hysterectomy shorter recovery. I had the old fashioned full works nearly 30 years ago that was a long recovery. Take care of yourself.
Elswick, we can all relate. You rest up as best you can. On days feeling rubbish, (like today) I can’t walk for the excruciating inflamed ankles, I just want to curl up and cry. Yes, and sometimes I do, I find myself angry cursing this disease, only to realise my mood impacts my pain. So a good podcasts always helps. Find ways to take your mind of how you feel, I know not easy, but you can do it. Take care now, Hessie
Hello elswick! You are in the very best place when you're on this forum! You know you are going to heal from the tooth and the hysterectomy, just need time! Hopefully the RA will lighten up while you are healing. You've had some very good advice from the friends on here.....TLC, pamper yourself! Hope tomorrow is a better day!
I too have been through cancer 2x hence hysterectomy, got my scan this week my mind on everything but Christmas, thenmybRA flared up couldn’t walk anywhere, can only take paracetamol for pain. Had steroid injections in both knees, thankfully it eased pain at least I can walk again without major pain. But hey girl give your self a chance Elswick your body still adjusting to the hysterectomy, yes we’ll still feel exhausted with RA but also it can take along time to recover from this op feeling exhausted with that too mood swings too of course you’ll have bad days but there’s good too 1 day at a time, the time of year doesn’t help either focus on your self, and stay with us, hope you are feeling better, sending lots of hugs to you.xx
