We had a poppy launch in Nuneaton yesterday with the lead up to rememberence on the 11/11 and my two will be at a lot of parade sover the coming two weeks and yesterday i was unsure whether to go or not. My dh said this might be the only chance you get to go to any as i am very vulnerable to the weather and usually after lunch i am fit for nothing. So i went all wrapped up warm in my scooter. Took loads of photos which i uploaded to my facebook page. I got my daughter a Christmas present of a winnie the pooh calendar and diary as i always do. I was not sure when i was going to get to town again so i got them. Treat myself to a lovely pink warm shawl as well. Also a pair of wine coloured pumps with fluff round the ankle.

This is a photo of my daughter Grace, she has been a standard bearer for our branch of the British Legion and she makes her dad and i very proud of her.

By the time we got home i was feeling the after affects of going out despite wearing a lot of clothes. I didn't step foot outside the door no more all day.

Tomorrow is hubbys 75th birthday as the children are all at work we are celebrating today with them all at lunch. I have been running around trying to tidy up for him so it takes the pressure of him as he is cooking like he always does. I don't cook now as i am not safe nin there now because of my hands. He does everything for me and he is suffering badly with his stomach today. My dil will come over when she has showered after i fetch her and help him. Also my daughter will be down as well and my son is working with someone today doing electrics as he is just qualified as a electrician and he needs the experience and as soon as he can he will be over as well. Our friend across the road will be here like she is every weekend and some very dear friends will be over after lunch as well.

I had a ultrasound on my hands yesterday and two fingers on my right hand are now badly swollen and becoming very deformed for me anyway as i have very slender fingers. There are some on the left hand as well. My back and neck is still there, but they are something i have to live with now.

I hop you all have a lovely Sunday.xxxx
