Just played tennis for 2 hours. It was good fun but my knee was not impressed. It looks pretty swollen to me! I know playing impact sport is bad for my joints particularly at my size but it makes me feel better emotionally and I have bipolar so that’s important too. Any tips on how to resolve the swelling and pain? I’ve got ice on it at the moment. Can’t walk down the stairs at all😩

I admire your determination to enjoy yourself but we always have to pay for our pleasures don't we? You're so right that excercise boosts the mood and helps ease our troubles. I reckon you're doing all the right things for your poor knee. RICE = Rest, Ice, Elevate and Compression with a sneaky anti inflammatory painkiller will help loads. Wishing you well
