I would say original packing with either a letter from your gp or a copy of your scrip.
Please bring me back a stick of rock
I would always keep my meds in hand luggage, in it's original packaging, with the latest prescription and a letter from your rheumy dept. It's always a good idea to check which meds are not allowed to be imported into the country you're visiting. There was a case recently of a woman trying to take tramadol into Egypt and was jailed as import of it is strictly prohibited there. Have a lovely holiday

I think the Egypt case was not that straight forward. The Tramadol was not prescribed for her by a GP and wasn't in a small quantity for a holiday. She had bought a large quantity via the internet and said she was taking it over for a friend who couldn't be prescribed it in Egypt. All sounded a bit dodgy, at the least very foolish. Always best to check though as you advise.
And a tv presenter for having a microscopic trace of cannabis on the outside of his shoe in transit, wonder how many people walk through and airport every day. Also a ba flight attendant with a poppy seed in her 👠 strange as BA serve rolls with seeds on them
The mind boggles
Best in your hand luggage as it has been known that you & your luggage don't arrive at your destination at the same time. I always take an unopened box (or bottle) of each in the original packaging including the PIL, not the exact amount for the length of stay then if you're delayed returning home you have a supply. Pop them in a clear polythene bag so they're all together if customs wish to check them. Either print off your repeat script, plus any acute meds you're taking such as a short course of steroids, or ask your GP for a list of them. Also check if there are any restrictions of taking specific meds into Bulgaria. I don't think there are any but it doesn't harm to be sure, especially codeine if you take it, a commonly prescribed med here but in some countries it's illegal.
Happy hols. 😎
Thank you every one, put my mind at ease, no more heels great advice about taking more than needed incase of delays etc .... minty yep no problem
Def in hand luggage, in original boxes and carry a prescription
Is it ok to have a copy of my prescription as doctor has made mistake with my letter and only stated one medication on it and miss all of my other ones!!!!
