Moan time! Due to very little sleep and painful wrists/ hands. Swelling , stiffness and pain as we all experience.
The chronic fatigue but you can't sleep with the pain scenario. Grin and bear it I guess. Painkillers not having any effect. Ice packs do help a bit. Been eating so healthy too! Soul destroying. Hopefully the inflammation will take a wee break to itself soon and give me peace!

I'm sorry to hear this, I empathise with your situation. My ankles have been playing up badly, and I've had a midly raised temp for weeks, up to 38. 1 c today. I have an emergency rheumatology appointment on Thursday, which I am grateful of. I hope you get some relief soon.
Thank you. I hope the Rheumatology Team can do something to calm everything down for you. I'm getting steroid injections once again in wrists. Best of luck on Thursday x
Can you get better painkillers from GP if yours not effective? My hands and wrists have never totally stopped aching and flare if I do too much with them. I use heated microwave bags in evenings and splints for doing anything repetitive or heavy. Not ideal in warm weather I know. Hope you get some relief soon x
Thanks Kerena. I have more painkillers than a chemist shop. They work a wee bit for a short while. I'm sick of rattling to be honest. The ice packs are a temporary relief but the inflammation especially in right hand/ wrist is like a dog with meaty bone! It just won't let up! Rheumatologist is suggesting another biologic. x
That sounds like me when first diagnosed, horrible if you can't sleep Suzie: can they give you steroid shot, don't think you should in that much pain, take care x
Try parrifin baths done through a spa, helps greatly with painful burning hands for weeks and sometimes months! Been a blessing for me, i also have wrist braces to wear at night, ecspecially after a day of using my hands, wishing you low pain days ahead!
Sorry you’re having a hard time! My hands give me gyp but I love to paint and get carried away... warm flannels help. Mint tea with ginger root and lemon also helps. Take care o thee!
