Face to face assessment re pip

Received a phone call on Friday around 1.45pm, from pip assessment person, just enquiring if I was attending, I informed them that I was.

Managed to get there with 5 mins to spare sweating 😅 away.

My appointment was for 3.30pm, eventually got taken at 4pm. The assessor was very pleasant, so different from that “ eejit” I got the last time.

Assessment lasted 1 hour.

My assessor introduced herself , informed us of her nurse status, explained everything regarding the whole process, from start to finish. Assessor appeared very respectful, listened to both my sister and I. Assessor ensured that we were able to view the screen where she was typing, unfortunately she did have to move the screen as the sun ( in Glasgow) sun ☀️ well, she informed us she couldn’t see/read the screen.

All in all, it was a far better experience than the first one.

Hi Jenny my face to face was so nice but wrote things down that I didn't say ,wolf in sheep's clothing .I'm from same neck of the woods as yourself ,Been through whole process and got heehaw!hope you get a better outcome than me 👍

Hi Magymay, that did actually cross my mind “ wolf in sheeps clothing”. That was my 2nd face to face assessment, my first one went onto tribunal as I was given 7 points, and many untruths written down. At tribunal I was awarded a further 2 points, but it was a nerve racking experience.

Hi guys, got standard rate pip for daily living for 3 years. I am so grateful I don’t have to go to tribunal as I was a complete anxious mess the last time, dry mouth, tears, the works.

Please don’t be put off by my post as I am a very anxious person by nature.
