Sounds as if he was thorough given the average assessment is a little over an hour, though it may be longer if it's done at home, my experience is at an assessment centre. I get what you mean about emotions, it dredges up memories of what used to be & the reality of the here & now.

He was very thorough, very calming. He was very surprised to hear that i don't see a specialist of any sort, as my GP keeps telling me 'that there's nothing that can be done' even though i'm constantly asking!
He was also very concerned about how i cope, as i live by myself. And kept saying 'i really feel for you, it's sounds awful'. IT IS!!!
Ah well, just the waiting game now. Plus, have another MRI appointment on 18th November to see what's going on with my spine.
