I need some help my mobility scooter (OLD G61T) has died on me so I am looking for some help in getting a new one. But I don't have the finance to buy one so does anyone know of a charity that can help with this.

That must be a proper downer. Any chance it can be repaired? There are companies around the UK that do repair mobility scooters.

Have you tried the .CAB.....they will have access to information on something like a grant for someone in your position,

If you get any sort of State Benefit...approach whoever pays that too.

We found someone to give my dads to this time last year after his passing via safa. So you could try them. Good luck

SSAFA is one of the armed forces charity, they do help others if they have more than is needed for armed forces. Each area has a local contact that can be found on internet.

Try googling ‘donate mobility scooter’ - you might have to plough through a lot of not so relevant stuff, but this was how I found a local charity to take my old scooter to pass on to someone else
