Everyone's different some get resbite straight away and others it can take a couple off months to work

I've had two injections then two weeks later have given self two more injections

I started Cimzia last December but it hasn't worked. At my appointment last Thursday they decided to stop the Cimzia and are looking to start Rituximab next month if my chest X-ray comes back clear and my blood tests are ok.

I'd say that it's different for everyone, sometimes folk get relief quite quickly but for others it can be a couple of months. If it hasn't worked in six months they may consider changing to another.

How long is a piece of string? CIMZIA is the drug that enabled me to get back control of my life. I hope it will work as well for you too. I suppose your body and RA team are the ones to tell you if it does work or not in the end. I have my fingers crossed for you.

I've beginning to lose hope as pain is getting me down

I’ve been on it 18 months and am pain free , it took about a month to notice a real difference and about 4 months before being pain free but oh yes there’s a but ..... the side affects are a mare , I’m so absolutely exhausted all the time , my eyes are sore , I’ve developed gum decease and I’ve never had any problems with teeth-before , I’m currently being tested for vitamin deficiency and then hopefully changing , this might not happen to you , it’s such a shame because pain wise it’s worked 10/10

I felt a difference very quickly, within a couple of weeks. I have generally been free of pain and inflammation since starting Cimzia 3 years ago. I occasionally get a flare just enough to remind me that I still have RA.

Third dose of cimzia injections double dose no improvements.

Still no difference on cimzia will be taking my fourth injection on Wednesday therefore all together that will be 7 injections
