CBD OIL ! Hi anyone know anything about the oil ? Selling in Holland & Barrett at a legalised low dose in UK now! Advise please in pain 🌸

I’m interested in any information from anyone who has tried it or thinking of trying it. As I am, if I get ok from my Dr with interactions with my drugs I’m thinking of it as I can’t take anti inflammatorys due to only having one damaged kidney and hate taking all the opioids for joint pain as they make me so sicky. The codeine , Oramorph etc .

The CBD oil is very expensive at £29.99 for only 10mls for only 5% cannabis oil in it from Holland & Barrett but literally every bit of psychoactive ingredients have to be removed so it’s legalised in UK.

Just not sure if it would do anymore than cod liver oil? I’ve never taken proper cannabis either in my life. So have no idea. I’m just in so much pain at the moment, I will pay the money if it’s safe with my drugs for my MCTD and infusions. This flare up has been going on for weeks and I’m just not coping and pain management team haven’t been able to help me as I have organ and internal pain as well as joint issues with the lupus , sjogrens & RA.

It’s supposed to help with sleep which I’ve had 2 hrs in last 4 days, my body is so painful at the moment ! also help with sickness, inflammation and lots more.

If it’s so harmless then it’s worth me trying but want all your advice first , have you tried the oil ? have you been thinking about the oil too ? IF DOCTOR SAYS ITS SAFE FOR YOU !

Hi Melissa: i don't think h and b one is anywhere near strong enough but it aint cheap either: i tried some, rubbish. Someone else recently did really good post on good ones. If you search under cbd oil on 'more' drop down at top should come up. They recommended 3: Grapetree, Green-light and CBD users uk i think. Good luck.

If its in the shop does it had the same status as a food item ? I know they sell B12 but in that does it'd be 35 tablets 3x a day at £9 a pack. I'd ask the GP if it's available on preciption now as it be cheaper and possably higher strength. It is interesting as if it works it could help a lot of people.

Yes they class it as a food supplement.

Hasn’t been legal for long , think it was last year they legalised this oil but only at very low levels but may be too low to help.

You get about 240 drops in 10ml bottle and it’s only 5% cannabis oil. You use about 1drop at a time under the tongue , not sure how many times a day but normal use should be 30 days worth.

I already ordered it whilst in agony at 3am this morning online with Holland & Barrett but heard you can get different company’s but none of them can legally go over the 5% level of cannabis oil and also the legal level of THC in oil ( so you can’t get high from it , which I prefer. Don’t like feeling weird)

I will see how I find it when it comes. Every person is different so outcome could work for me as never used cannabis before so this mild oil may help me. Fingers crossed I’ll try anything not to take the opioids or at least reduce them whilst having a flare as they make me so sick.

Have been taking CBD since Christmas. Pain levels have dropped dramatically, especially in my hip which I am waiting to get replaced. I have told all the various consultants I see and they are all ok with it. Have a look on Facebook for CBD Consumers UK/EU. It is a closed group which you have to apply to join but there is a wealth of information there and some excellent people to answer any questions. They have a list of recommended suppliers (all providing the legal stuff).

I've been on the oil for 10 days now and I feel much better. I bought mine from an alternative shop and it has a very small amount of HTC in it. Good luck.

I’ve started drinking CBD hemp tea the last month and it’s def helped me sleep and my pain only a bit but prob need to drink more but taking it slow. To see how much works for me.

I bought it from a legal Hemp farmer in uk on EBay 20g ground up for £4.50.

I know you can buy a bulk amount of hemp CBD flowers ( Legal UK seller with legal forms and a breakdown of his CBD levels & THC levels as per law ) and they sell 100g flower hemp (so needs to be ground down) for £20.00 .

It still works out cheaper than Holland and Barratts oil, went through that at recommended levels ! Cost £30 for 10mls of low CBD and lasted 2weeks and only helped aid sleep.

Would be interested in knowing how you get on with a different CBD oil company though.

Tastes ok actually you can also make a hemp coconut oil from it to rub in your joints etc or use the coconut hemp oil to cook with.

I’ve learnt so much from this company as CBD Hemp sellers deal with lots of people with pain.
