Recently, a friend of mine suggested I try CBD Oil for my pains, but I´m in treatment with Arava and Prednisolona. My rheumy tells me to be patient (I started treatment in Nov. 17 and had to change mtx to arava one month ago ... like starting from zero) and not try anything else..
Has anyone experienced with it?

Hi,I suffer chronic Pelvic pain, and I've tried 3 strengths of CBD Oil,for the pain, and all it really done for me was totally relax me,which is fine at night, but you don't want to be half asleep in the day. It suits me,but RA pain is pretty bad. As I've got that as well.
Hi
Just wanted to echo the consultant's suggestion that it is probably a good idea not to try something at the moment when you are only just starting on a new therapy. The CBD oil could possibly make if difficult to determine the benefits/side effects of your new medication regimen? Perhaps wait a while to get established on your new treatment?
I bought some today at told it would take a few months to feel better it is not cheap but I will give it three months as it’s on half price offer at Holland and Barrett’s
Hi I've been using it for two weeks and already feel a difference. It's a more relaxing and less stressful feeling and that's just helping me cope better with the pain and nausea that comes with RA and fibromyalgia. I said I'd give it a month or twò trial so I guess we will see! M x
Hi, I’ve been using it twice a day since December and it has helped with the pain, sleeping and ‘brain fog’. I can tell when I don’t take it. I’m using a spray that goes under the tongue.
Waiting to see what your meds do first is good advice and then you can try the CBD to give you that extra boost if needed. Good luck 😊
I do empathise, I really do. Waiting for meds to work, particularly DMARDs that aren't fast acting in anybody's world, is a blinkin nuisance to say the least! But, I'd not go against your Rheumy's advice, you need to be sure what's what & that the leflunomide is working for you, this will be his concern & why I don't think it'd be wise to try CBD oil just now. Maybe you can discuss it with him again if you still have pain if you're on or get to full dose (20mg) but hang in there, it may just be the med for you. It's always best to be guided by your Rheumy, he has your best interests at heart. Well meaning friends don't understand about the meds we take, your Rheumy does.
I hope leflunomide does help you, I gave it a good go but had to give up on it unfortunately.
