Hello everyone hope you are all ok. I just wanted to know when your pip is coming to an end do you have to reapply yourself or do they contact you? Thank you xx

Hi. Whenever your claim is due for renewal the benefits office will contact you. The dates that you have for to end they wont contact you on the specific dates . Don't worry so long as your benefits are still being paid. My ESA was due for renewal & it was almost a year before they contacted me. Sam.

May sound really stupid what does esa stand for? So if my pip end date is May will payment stop on that day or will they keep paying until they reasses me? I keep all my hospital letters in a folder but I don’t go as much now I was going every six to eight weeks now it’s every six months x

Pip normally contact you a year before your award runs out. Mine runs out January 2019 and I have just received the review form.
