Hi

It had been a while since I've been on here, but due to flare ups occurring far too often for comfort again ive been offered the drug called Baricitinib, I'm wondering if any of my fellow rheumys have heard anything on this new drug?

Ive done the google searches and read some reports, but has anyone actually been prescribed it or know anything further?

Thanks

Alison

Hi Alison, I was offered this some months ago. There was a thread on here about this then - do a quick search for the thread.

Basically it is a new JAK inhibitor taken as a tablet.

Good luck.

I have just started on baricitinib (3 days ago) so I guess it is a question of watch this space. Still taking methotrexate as well. Fingers crossed 😑
