Spinal injections done

Well I have now had both spinal injections, but as yet no improvement. I also feel a bit like a pin cushion from also injecting clexane for the past week. I hope it doesn't take too long and I really hope they work as I don't want surgery At least I can relax at home due to asthmatic bronchitis. Stupidly did my cosentyx injection without realising I was coming down with something ,so now a week in I am not much better. grrrrr

Hi Hun what injections did you have in your spine? I had steroid injections in my L3/4/5 S1 also my hips. I was in a lot of pain afterwards. 🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹xxx

Yep steroids in C6/C7 facet joint and in to spaces somewhere near my spinal cord, not much pain from the injections, but I am hoping they work. Other injections I have had in my lower spine and other various parts work within a few days. Maybe these take longer

Hi sweetie I am not to sure how long they will take to work for you as everyone is different. The doctor that did mine I really didn’t like him. He was to matter a fact for my liking. I had another doctor inject my coccyx that was very painful for around 10 days and the pain went and I have no more trouble or pain there now. I want to see that doctor again. Going to ask my gp for a referral to see him again. Got my fingers crossed 🤞 for you sweetie that it all works out for you. Take good care of yourself sweetie 🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹xxx

Thank you, the others have been great and worked really well except in my hips, they did nothing. Just from experience of all the others I have had in different spots they seemed to work in a coupe of days, especially the lower back. I felt great the next day as the pain subsided so much. These must take longer or the bony spurs are too narrow to release the nerve roots maybe. anyway I guess time will tell. Good luck and I hope you get a good dr next time. Mine was very business like and just walked out after the injection without a word to me.
