Searching for a post that discussed how spinal injections were not a good option.

I've searched spinal injections, but this comment was in another thread. It was made in the past month or so.

I am asking because I have an appointment with my rheumy tomorrow and I am hoping to address my Tinnitus in addition to my RD. I have been researching causes for Tinnitus and wonder if the Lidocaine used in my spinal injections or in the epidural for my Total Knee Replacement could be the culprit.

The post I am inquiring about discussed how spinal injections may not be the most responsible of treatments for back pain. I am hoping someone might recall this specific post.

Any ideas of where I could review the post? Thanks, friends.

I have read pros and cons for spinal injections and I think it depend on your issue. Mine didn't work as I was too far gone so I paid $800 for no result. Some say it is the first line of defence in spinal issues and others say that it makes surgery more difficult due to the steroid toughening up ligaments etc. I guess it depends on which way your medical professional looks at it. I have read in articles that people have tinnitus as a result of injections, but also that you can get it with spinal issues anyway. So chicken and egg stuff maybe. I have had tinnitus since I was a kid when I had continual burst eardrums so I cannot remember a time I didn't have it.

I didn't see the post but would have been interested to read it too given my looming ACDF on the 27th.

There is a procedure called Hydrogel which is proformed in Germany. The procedure is for degenerated spinal discs.
