Please find details of the NRAS Group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 6th November 2017

Bolton NRAS Group

2017 meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month (February - December) at Bolton One, Moor Road, Bolton, BL3 5BN from 2.00pm-4.00pm.

7th November - A physiotherapist will be talking to the group

Chesterfield NRAS Group

2017 group meetings are held at Bridge Street Methodist Church, (also known as Pilsley Methodist Church) Bridge Street, Pilsley, Chesterfield, S45 8HE on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

7th November - Guest speaker: Sally Fenton, Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham and Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, will talk about 'The benefits of sitting less, and moving more for RA'

Hertfordshire NRAS Group

Quarterly meetings are held at Welwyn Civic Centre, Prospect Place, Welwyn AL6 9ER on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

7th November - Fidelma and Sharon, Rheumatology Specialist Nurses from Lister Hospital, will be hosting a Q&A session

Mid Cornwall NRAS Group

The Mid Cornwall NRAS group - PIRATES (people involved in RA training, education and support) meet at Carnon Downs Village Hall, Tregye Road, Carnon Downs, Truro TR3 6JQ every other month on a Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

8th November 7:00pm-9:30pm - The Group's annual fun quiz night! General knowledge, table quiz, music rounds and more, prizes for winning team + raffle. Tickets £5 to include a ploughman's supper, available on 01209 710304 or [e-mail]. Bring a team (up to 6), or come along and make up a team on the night - everyone very welcome!

Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group

Meetings are held in Conference Room 1 at The Campus, Highlands Lane, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 7DX monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

8th November - A member of the group will be doing a talk on how she monitors her blood test results and the benefit of this to her and her clinicians. Group Coordinator Dana will also be doing a general update for the group.

Worcester NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings take place on Wednesdays between 6.45pm to 8.30pm at the Lyppard Hub in Ankerage Green, Warndon Villages, Worcester WR4 0DZ.

8th November - Guest speaker: Linda Baldwin, Benefits Advisor. Linda will be discussing the PIP Benefit.

St Helens NRAS Group

The group meets every other month in Room 8 at St. Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St. Helens, WA10 1HP from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Friday 10th November from 2pm - 'Remedial Yoga' by Yoga Steve, Holistic Therapist and Advanced Sivananda Yoga Teacher

Gwent NRAS Group

Meetings will be held on the second Saturday of alternate months at Caerphilly Library, The Tywn, Caerphilly, CF83 1JL from 9:30am.

11th November - Acupuncture by Jane Henshaw

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
