Sorry to moan but on 20mg of steroids and I am all over the place! Anxious then irritable , high then low.... feeling quite stressed about it even tho I have a week off this week! Argh!

Keep rolling on my side to sleep but terrified this will trigger another flare in shoulders ( it has done so before) any one got any suggestions?? Xx

Pillows at the side of you? I feel for you, the lack of sleep and the fear of triggering pain is so draining - no wonder you feel all over the place.

I did this with the pillows when I had both hips replaced together at the same time- couldn’t lie on either side so had to ensure I stayed in my back .

I wish you sine relief soon

I agree with Eiram50 - pillows, wedges, anything that will keep you where you need to be. Even a wedge under your knees can stop you flipping onto your shoulders.

Agree with the others and Helix body pillow is great.

Are you taking good pain relief before bed tho. If you are sore all night call the GP for better pain help.

Also I bought a ( brain fog) spongy mattress what's the name 😁which eases the pressure on your joints.

Also on occasions I used "rest splints" on my wrists and arms.. not lovely to look at but they did help me get some rest! I got them made by the physio.

You're talking to someone who ideally wants a Thunderbirds launching pad for a bed so that I can get out of bed, not wrestle with doors etc., so - yeah, I'm a gadget hound. :)

You know what’s funny is we are trying to conceive - so lying like I’m in a coffin ain’t exactly conducive to it!!!!!

Been trying for 6 years - so not very hopeful now. I might pop another post up - see if anyone has any experience with that xx
