Cataracts
Hi Saxon84
I would be phoning the dr , or even your pharmacy , and check with them . We shouldn't diagnose on here , but just be mindful , It could be an ok reaction to the steroid drops , or it could be a seconadary infection / irritation. Better to be safe than sorry ....especially with your eyes.

I had cataract surgery last April and I did have stinging when I put the eye drops in, not at first but after a few weeks. I was told that sometimes this happens and not to worry about it. I think that the white of my eye looked a little red as well. But, that's me and not you, so you must ring to check.
I've got dry eyes anyway because of RA and the drugs I take. I have to use eye drops during the day for this and if my eyes are very dry when I put the drops in it's as if pins are being prodded in my eyes.
Last week I was on my iPad along time, thinking about booking a holiday and I spent hours reading reviews on trip adviser, in the evening my eyes were so sore and painful. Realise now that too much staring at the screen makes them dry. You don't blink a lot when your looking, so I now try not to spend too much time on the iPad.
Anyway, get advice just to be on the safe side. x
