Flare up!!!

Hi just looking for some advice. I waiting for end of Oct to start Benepali. I'm currently taking 7mg of pred, codeine and naproxen. I'm having such a bad flare up. I had a depo injection in July which helped for a few weeks but now the pain is worst than ever. The pain is particularly worse in my hands. They are swollen and I can't bend the fingers. Is there anything I can do myself help with the pain in them. Is there some magic support I can buy just to help. I'm back to feeling completely overwhelmed and can't cope. I really want to call the advice line and just tell them but I'm not sure there is anything else they can do. They are woefully under staffed and cant fit me in sooner. Are you allowed to have 2 depo injections on the trot? I'm despairing. I trying to think of something to help myself but when I'm in this much pain all I can think of is that I can't cope

You need to call the advice line and talk to them about this as you can't be like this for another 7+ weeks.

It would be absolutely lovely to have a "magic support" that would help your hands but it's not sounding like something that can be solved OTC but definitely needs a medical intervention - whether that's a temporary increase in your medications or the use of another one.
