Clay heat packs

Hi :)

I have used my clay heat pack for several years now. Or rather, I've had two. My forward thinking mum bought two when she saw some but unfortunately they've both burst. Does anyone know where I can find a clay heat pack? I find they stay warm longest so I can get to sleep before they go cold.

Thanks in advance :)

I had not heard of these before but they look a good idea. Amazon seem to have a good selection of sizes, shapes and prices. I may even indulge myself and get one. Thanks for the heads up!

Interesting. I've used Corn heat pads for years. My wife and I make them. Just fill a sack with feed corn (cheap) and microwave for a couple of minutes. It will stay warm for a good half hour or longer. How long does the clay one stay warm for? It seems the clay would dry out very quickly, does it not? If anyone finds a good place to buy them please let us know.

Mine I think is an Australian company, not sure where my mum got hold of them to be honest!

They're basically clay in a heatproof bag which is then in a cloth outer bag. It has an elastic strap so I can put it anywhere without having to hold it on.

It stays warm for hours. I sometimes wake up and it's still warm - not warm enough to be effective but it's still quite impressive! I have a corn bag too but the clay pack definitely beats it for staying hot.

I can find lots on American and Australian sites but I'm struggling to find one to buy in the U.K.

Not what you're looking for?
