Has anyone ever tried using ice packs on their hands/wrists. Did you find it helped. I currently can’t take meds as my nutrofils are too low and it’s being investigated. Been told I can have another steroid injection but trying to hold back. It’s just my hands and wrists giving me issues at the mo. TIA

Ice packs
When my ankles were bad I use to put hot and cold packs on them. It did make a difference. If I was out and about I would use a freeze spay that helped as well
The injection would give you much longer relief if it works! Ice packs can’t be on 24/7.
I hope they get to the source of the neutrophil problem and find a way forward for you soon. 🙂
I use a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a tea towel so it kind of wraps round/ molds to the wrist n hands . Fab !
I have koolpacks, there are other brands too, which you can put in the freezer or heat in the microwave if you need a heat pack. I have 2 one is always in the freezer and one in the kitchen drawer to pop in the microwave as needed.
Lidl’s do great reusable ice or fridge pack one that stays on with Velcro: sitting with it on my elbow at mo & stayed cool for ages out of fridge £2.99 bargain 👍😊
