I use it. Very dependable site in UK too. I get it in France. I believe it does help with pain. Tried turmeric for sometime, wasn't convinced, now trying cbd. I think it's definitely worth a try. Good quality quite expensive though.

Just ordered it! I have family in Texas that swear by it for pain and anxiety. My sister in law gets hers at a vape store and it comes in three different strengths. I had her get me the middle strength, 1000mg, so we'll see. Hoping for at the very least a little relief!

Can you get a medical marijuana card there? You need this to get CBD oil...

What she's bringing me has little to no THC in it and doesn't need a prescription... so not even sure if it's gonna help for pain. But everything I've tried OTC so far isn't helping at all. I tried my sis in laws when she was back this last week and used it under the tongue. You hold it in your mouth for 10 seconds before swallowing it. No taste really at all. Kindof like coconut oil. Got an instant warmth all over, sustained feeling for many hours and got rid of a horrible methaltrexate headache that I always seem to get on my shot day. Kindof excited to use on a regular basis. I'll post after it arrives šŸ˜Š

Thanks for the reply I am going to try the CBD oil with the lowest dose THC as this is what the doctor told me works for chronic pain and migraines I am hoping it helps my liver/PBC pain as well it will be trial and error to find the right dose for me he said, but I can't take pain pills anymore with stage 2 PBC it hurts my liver every time I take a pill now the CBD/thc doesn't go through the liver he said so I am hoping more liver patients with chronic pain can use it.

I have tried it .so far so good. Been useing it for three weeks now.

I use the cbd cold extract or "non activated cbd " about ten drops (it's half a dropper full) each night (no THC in it , or at least minimal)

I also use an activated extract , usually four to six drops , at night before going to bed. Working very well . Have not slept this well for about twelve months at least . (Can never get comfy due to RD in shoulders, hands, wrists, hips, feet ankles and knees. ) Despite my Enbrel not working or kicking in yet .......my pain is certainly bearable.

All the best .

You are very fortunate to have your system over there.

It is still pretty much illegal here (Australia). I've been doing a fair bit of reading ..........I think it's criminal that people are still having to illegally use this plant . Not sure if you have read much of the research into cbd oil ......it's worth researching . I'm a Registered nurse , and midwife .......yet I had never known anything about our endocanabinoid system ...and the way which this herb is helping people.

Good luck šŸ˜‰

Yes I did lots of research and since I can't take pills due to autoimmune liver disease I am looking for this non pill form to help my pain and digestive issues. I pray some day it will be available for everyone it reminds me of alcohol prohibition very similar history except that doesn't help anyone right!

tried it but no effect. Son sniggered when he saw the% on label; tried 'real stuff' many many yrs ago - no effect in 60s; murderous urges in 80s LOL ,,,, we are still married. Going off dairy and minimising grains had more effect tbh.

I am giving you all an update , I tried the CBD oil 300mg 1 dropper full each morning on it since Friday 3 doses now, I feel better, pain everywhere has decreased and I have a sense of well being that is nice , I am reading some good data into research clinical trials on CBD oil for liver diseases and seizures , pain , cancer , you should all read what you can and talk to,your doctors to see if it can help you. I by no means am advocating this for anyone just for myself as I can't take anymore pills they hurt my stomach and are hard on my liver as the pills all go through the liver, CBD oil does not my doctor said. I think it's only a matter of time before it and medical marijuana will get seriously studied more and more especially with the opioid epidemic and the damage the pills have on the body especially those with liver diseases. There is lots of good research on CBD online already worth looking into for those like me who have pain with no other available options left to try.

Hi there Michiganpbc

So glad to hear you have tried the cbd and got results. I have been on it for three and a half weeks now , and I am so glad I have found something to help , both short term pain relief , and lng term anti inflammatory etc.

I am still amazed by some of the things I am reading .....

Hi Karen yes amazing results so far! I recently read it helps cirrhosis and seizures cancer and Parkinson's there is limited clinical trials on CBD oil but enough to convince me it needs to have more clinical trials data it's interesting science for sure and can help others with those above mentioned diseases I have to say I am not a doctor nor do I endorse any products always ask your doctor . But what I have been reading about CBD and the human body is fascinating stuff for sure.so glad you are feeling better too!

Strayleaves profile image
Strayleavesā€¢ in reply toMichiganpbc

I am so glad and happy u are getting good results. I'm no dr either ......I am very cautious with taking any medications.....I rarely even took panadol , prior to this RD diagnosis.

I have had issues with a good friend , actually two of them ....who used to smoke cannabis daily. I was totally anti (drugs and cannabis) , and it did cause issues within the friendships. .......their use was purely recreational use. Medicinal cannabis is a whole different story....

I have not had a major flare since diagnosis..... I was flaring in individual joints at a time , and it was absolute agony !!!. My disease is still not controlled , and for a while I have been so scared of a full on flare, because I have lots more joints affected now, and the agonising pain I could be in .

This oil has given me hope for better pain relief and comfort measures .

What did your doctor say when and if you told them you are using the Oil?

Strayleaves profile image
Strayleavesā€¢ in reply toMichiganpbc

Hi

I saw my g.p. Yesterday. Dr was very busy , but I did manage to tell her that I had started useing cbd oil .

We didn't get to talk much , though from her reaction , she seemed quite ok with it. She did say that she has had a few people ask about it , or rather can she prescribe it for them .Dr said that she started the process of application (I think to prescribe) but it was just too time consuming etc .

I will talk more with her next visit.

Hope you are having a great day. Nearly 11pm here , so I'm off to bed ...

Hope you are mostly pain free !

CBD oils and powder generally has no THC. It is best known for reversing even stage four cancers. It is also very effective with seizures.

Yes that's right ! I am fascinated by what I am reading about its effects on liver disease and Parkinson's unbelevable right, it's only a matter of time before it will be prescribed more and more....

I have been using CBD oil for a few weeks now and i have stopped all my painkillers !! I would recommend it to anyone, I buy it on line from CBD Brothers, all legally, on their website you can read all the reviews which are all good, you can also buy similar but not as good from Holland and Barret.

Great news nellysgran! Keep it up ....

Unfortunately it is still illegal here ......

I actually forgot to mention , despite me being on a fairly low dose , and usually just taking it before bed.....

I am not on any anti inflammatory medications or analgesics for pain ...šŸ˜€

Hiya Angela! Nice to see you back again, hope you've been ok, well you know what I mean! I wonder if you can help, I've been researching CBD oil for my h who can't take strong pain relief (opioids) & I'm impressed by CBD Bros site but with dipping my toe in the water I'm a bit hesitant to buy so have decided to sample first. I think it would be best to start low & increase as he finds necessary but which to request, this is where I'm a bit lost, how do the colours work? You would expect it to be price determined, purple, white, red, black? Am I right & which did you start on?

Btw you could have chosen WasWiliby, OldWiliby conjures up you being aged & you're certainly not that lol! x šŸ˜‹

OldWiliby profile image
OldWilibyā€¢ in reply tonomoreheels

hello! glad to see you're still here :) yikes I do mean on HU of course and not .... I'll stop now!! haha

It really is a minefield and different oils/pastes work different for each individual. As the cbd is being sold as a 'food supplement' it is illegal for any suppliers to advise for health conditions; making it so much harder for the rest of us.

I don't know enough apart from it works from me but; you start slowly to awaken your endocannabinoid system to re awaken; if you take too much it can make you feel worse especially if you are taking it for anxiety; I use blue edition capsules highest strength now, 1-2 a day after trying a couple of the oils, blue paste and lovecbd (another company) all of which were not quite right...

It has made the biggest difference for fatigue, I can achieve so much more. Unexpectedly my endometrioses pain has completely stopped!! and I never realised how anxious I was until I started taking cbd, after 30mins of taking it I feel 'like I can breath'...

Also, cutting down pain relief; for a start you forget to take your usual dose and then also helps with the withdrawal from tramadol ect.

I use a much weaker dose (Holland and barrat CBD oil - less than half a drop per day compared to the recommended 12) made into peppermint sweets for my daughter was has autism; this was the hardest decision but seeing my 6 year old in a constant state of anxiety was horrific, there is a lot of evidence of it's success with autism and children; it has been 3 months without and anxiety attack and no sitting under her bed for hours...

I am part of a facebook page who have been fantastic explaining everything I need to know, reading all the comments for all conditions everyday is incredible. Nothing shorts of miracles happening, if you want I can send you the link? I would post along with other info but not sure if I would be breaching the sites rules??

and yes, I'm really not old!! and yes, waswilibly would have made far more sense!! I just got over excited when I saw someone had posted about cbd oil and that the feedback was all good, I have thought about sharing for a while but was concerned about the 'doubters'

so, to the point, I can point you on the right direction if you need links ect. have you heard of The realm of caring? although American based I am sure they can help if you do not access facebook...

need to run, let me know your thoughts x

I did....& replied. But as you see it's not here. I've had this happen on pm's but not on the here, for a while anyhow. Anyway, I'm no further on with CBD oil so have decided as h has his assessment soon with the Psych at the Pain Clinic & an alternative Doctor (can't think of his title) it was best to ask their advice on it first, he's lived with the pain this long another few weeks wait won't make much difference. I'm concerned it may interfere with whatever they try too so it's on hold for the mo. Thanks for your experience though I'm pleased it's really helping you & your daughter, that's really impressive, 3 months without her anxiety & her need to hide, that's certain improvement. I will take you up on your offer of sharing links as & when though if you don't mind. I'll pm you once he's more of an idea of the treatment options available to him. I know the first is acupuncture which he's willing to try as it's worked before but he'll ask this other Doctor if CBD will influence what he's intending for him.

Take care. x
