Horrendous. So sad. We live quite close to Manchester and go to the arena with my children. Somehow that feels more shocking though it shouldn't. It leaves you feeling so helpless. Everyone take care today xx

Of course it feels too close for comfort. My thoughts are for everyone who was there and their families. Manchester is showing wonderful solidarity.

Woke up to the terrible news. Like Lizzie it's our nearest large arena, somehow it feels more personal. God bless those who lost their lives & hoping others who were injured come through.

When asked about his philosophy, the Dalai Lama simply said "be kind". I don't think there is enough kindness in the world. My thoughts go out to those bereaved, injured and shocked.

So upsetting to learn that evil people terrorized Manchester last night. I just don't understand why people can be so evil. Human life should be cheerished not destroyed because of ideology.... We all have a mother, I wonder if the perpetrator of this horrendous crime would of stopped if he thought "If I do this, will it make my mother proud?"

I doubt it. They say that many of these extremists come from unhappy homes. Who knows. I come from a dysfunctional fancily but I don't take revenge on innocent people. Its used as an excuse sometimes I think.

It won't end until our lawmakers stop pussyfooting around. If somebody, anybody, even me is suspected of any sort of terrorist activity...lock them away....until there is clarity. Never mind about the bleeding heart lawyers pleading for their client's human rights.....OK if a mistake is made...compensate them.

There is no compensation for those poor families in Manchester.

Harsh if a suspect is innocentt ? Yes, but redeemable ...

We must not let whoever is orchestrating these atrocities ever think they can win.

I know it is 2 days ago, my heart is still crying.... for the loss of children, mums,dads,aunties, uncles and so many more!

So what is it going to take for ALL OUR GOVERNMENTS to make a stand, and sort this out once and for all.... we need to talk about this in our schools to get the correct information out to ALL our children... if we can STOP BUT ONE more child/teenager becoming a BOMBER!!!!!! what do I tell my grandchildren.... my g/daughter was playing and her toy watering can, became a bomb......NEED I SAY MORE, she is only 4 years old and this is the norm......my heart is with you all, keep safe tell each other that you "love them" always.
