Wrist/hand pain

Just had a pain-free month due to prednisalone but now that has ended and my hands have started hurting again. One common site of pain is shown in picture and stops me curling my fingers/fist. Does anyone else get tenderness in that spot? Thanks

Yes, and it's very annoying. Wearing my wrist supports enables me to use my hands even when that little joint is swollen. I suppose it might be better to use a splint and rest it, but that's even more annoying.!

Have you ever been checked out for carpal tunnel syndrome?

I haven't but it doesn't fit the symptoms for carpal tunnel. I understand why you say that though due to where it is.

Yes that wa the initial thought I had as I have had a carpal tunnel release in the very same spot.

Lets hope the cause can be established soon and you get sone relief .

I get big problems with my wrists and hands too had 4 steroid injections, 2 on each hand 2 months ago but worn off now and hands sore again also feeling very cokes all the time
