Looking to go back to work full time in a few weeks π Just on time as half sick pay about to start.
On 30 mg is prednisone still and just terrified myself reading about tapering off them . Obs will discuss with rheumy and doc but just wondering if anyone has any tips or could share their experience with me about reducing the dose of steroids. Want to be prepared as possible and also prepare family and work for the withdrawal effects.... scared I gonna turn into hormonal wreck!! Also when do I get rid of this bleeding moon π face???!!!!!!!!!! My face is quite wide as it is and now is sooo puffy , I don't want to take any pictures of myself!!!! π
Thanks in advance And hoping you guys pain free as can be π

I'm afraid steroids never worked for me so I can't advise about that but wanted to say, really glad to hear of Your progress- can hear the pure joy in your words. Long may it continue!
What wonderful news that you got such a fast and positive reaction, they say these drugs can take many weeks and many doses to make a change but it certainly seems that for you it is having the almost miracle results that only a few have described and benefitted from taking this drug. I have been reduced to a base dose of steroids from 25 mg and it was really not that bad. I hope you continue to "have a life back"as you put it and get back to work, i was if anything a work oholic and of anything apart from walking of course it is work i miss the most.
