Second time? Are you in the ESA support group? Or is this related to your first interview for PIP?

It was the second pip application. I have been rejected for ESA too. I went to the CAB And they helped me get this far.

The hoops we have jump through are getting higher and higher, I must admit I was trying for years to DLA and it was my Dementia that got me my PIP i think but the government just don't care. I suppose we have to wait and cast our votes, those who tory have a lot to apologise for because if these Tory didn't get in and labour would change some things and at least I think we would get some respect from them. That's my rant over lol. I hope your claim goes through well, I'll try cross my fingers and toes lol.

Whatever the intention of our government, suffering is still a choice.

I chose to go as a happy person.

There is no way to engage with the government machine but most of the operators a still mostly human.

Whether or not I get the outcome I want, I enjoyed the event, I was even given a coffee.

Keep smiling.

My appointment came within six weeks of the big firm submission. So it should be soon for you. Good luck.

How did you find the assessment, and what happens in it. Will be having mine soon. Why have they said no to you. xxx

The first two were stressful. Be careful what they write down may have nothing to do with what you said.

Most recently I decided to take a positive attitude with me. Regardless of the outcome, I went away feeling good about it.

Good luck

The first times I was too stressed to deal with the rejection. Which is a paradox. We can be strong even if our bodies disagree. It took a while for me to remember that.

Good luck.

Well jolly good luck you deserve it and none of us should have to go through all this just to prove how poorly we are. I wish you good luck. Zeus49.

Everything crossed for you but my eyes

Same thing to me, rejected first time and found out 15 months later when they accepted the 2nd application that documents that were used in the 2nd one and available for the first were never disclosed, even to the Tribunal and I couldn't take it back to court because it was over the legal time limit. Nice one DWP, avoid and delay to avoid a legal challenge, so you save a few pennies while my life is difficult and I was stuck indoors freezing and unable to get out.

The assessment process is designed to avoid paying out, why would the government pay ATOS £1.3Bn unless they saved money?. I have the contract details from the DWP website after my FOI request, which revealed how deeply buried they are, that was just ATOS, there are 2 more companies out there.

Stick with it and follow my other posts on this subject, it is not to be trusted to help you.
