The thing is Sylvia you are running on empty your resistance is low.( low immune) Are you still on steroids, they only make you feel better(that is what they are for). They help with pain. I had chest infection at Christmas and have another now. So i know how you feel. The thing is i have been told to rest and take the pills , I still have shopping to do and cooking as my other half doesnt do it. You have so much more wrong with you than I.

I send you loads of hugs and hope you get well soon, so you can get your camera out again and take more lovely photos. XXX

I try and so things that will last, I am cooking two meals at the same time. ONe is a stew that will last for several days untill it runs out. It is in a big slow cook. the other is for today. The poor dog gets to go in the yard . So i only do what i have to. Then i can relax and rest .

Yes we all suffer in our own way. hope you all feel a bit better day by day and look forward to the spring its around the corner lol . ( i hope). hugs all round XXXX

You just can't shake this off can you? Sorry you're so poorly Sylvi & now have anaemia & cholesterol meds to add to your ever increasing script. Hoping you react as positively to your statin as I have mine. You'll be even more tired with the anaemia so snuggle down & REST! x

Really sorry to hear that you're poorly and having trouble shifting It. Internally, your body must be going haywire, no wonder you're drained and shattered.

Wishing you well and a turn in the road re how you're feeling.

Oh Sylvi that is no good. I have been on statins for a while. I wondered if the drugs had anything to do with it as I have never had high cholesterol and no one in my family does either. So weird. I only take them 3 days a week due to liver problems.

I hope you finally come out the other side of the viral/flu/ thing that you have. hugs and best wishes

I sympathise Sylvi - not least because I got flu yesterday too. Just after injecting Enbrel on Monday so fingers crossed my immune system isn't too clobbered and I can fight off any complications.

Did you feel this bad before Statins? I know they don't suit everyone - one hears about depression and muscle weakness. But less miserable than controlling high cholesterol by diet perhaps. I hope it's all down to coping with flu for so long and this *#!? RA. Look after yourself. Spring is coming, then Summer and no bending to put on socks and even better, slip on shoes!

I follow a low fat diet due to bariatric surgery in October 2015 and have since lost five stone in weight. So i am aware of diet. I am anaemic as well and it could be a side effect of the surgery and being ill with this virus for so long. I can't wait for the better weather so i can get out into my garden.xxxx
