Well i know why i am feeling so ill.......
Interesting and thank you.xxxxx
Not great news Sylvi but at least you have got to the bottom of it and now know what you are up against.
They can now start you on the correct meds to get you back in kilter, and I will bet you are greatly relieved to know what it is that's caused you all this grief.
With a bit of luck they will have you fit enough to go and fully enjoy your holiday.now there's a target to work towards.
All the best .

Hi Sylvi
I am sorry you have been struggling, now you know why you can make any changes you need to help you feel better.
Hope you are feeling better very soon, gentle hugs
Phil
Did the doctor tell you to add an iron supplement? That's what my doctor told me to do, now my levels are fine. Also, I didn't know this but if a person is low on vitamin D, that can cause pain too....just a thought to pass along. Blessing!
I have been taking a mlti-vit with iron, but apparently there is only a trace amount of iron,so when i am back on my feet i will look into getting a different supplement. As to vit d. i am always out in the sunshine as much as i can as i love the sun.xxxxxx
Well, it'snot the best of news, but I'm sure that you are relieved to know there is a reason for all the problems you have been experiencing. So now just get better!!! Please! M xx
Hello. No wonder you feel so crappy. Well I am so glad they know now and something can be done.
Now you can have some peace. Enjoy the weekend Sylvi.

What treatment are you having for the anaemia Sylvi ? I was told by my Rheumie anaemia very common in RA, I have been anaemic for years now. I can't absorb iron from tablets or liquid form following the surgery I had on my pancreas 7 yrs ago, so I get an infusion three times per year at hospital which keeps me ticking over but my iron levels are never very good, they rise quite well after infusion then slowly drop back till due for next one. I am under care of haematology now for this, yet another consultant to see, but he is such a lovely man.
My dad who's 91 gets bit anaemic nowadays as he doesn't eat that much so I get him bottle of Sanatogen every week (tonic wine) and he reckons he feels lot better since having a glass a day, either way he's still got more energy than me, lol xxxx
I am not sure what he has given me short that they are tablets. I have had surgery for weight and i don'y have much of a stomach left now so it could be that i am not absorbing as much now which is quite common in the surgery i have had

Maybe you might end up on infusions then in the end if you can't absorb. Nothing to worry about, just another consultant though, at least it's over in less than an hour and no iron tablets to take. My pancreas was knackered when I had large cyst removed, not only causing absorption probs but also I became type 1 diabetic overnight ! I have been on insulin since my surgery, another 5 or so injections per day to deal with and constantly having to check my glucose levels. Xxxx
At last you know! Sorry Sylvi only just seen this & kicking myself for not recognising it could be due to anaemia, the signs were there. Knowing how it is been with my h & you also having gone through your op even more so but I do hope that you react to whatever's thrown at you & it's not necessary to have infusions, though they do the job it's obviously better if your bloods come back without needing them. Having something to pin on why you've been feeling like you have must help a little bit. x
Am glad you know the reason for feeling so poorly all this time. Hope you're on the path to gaining your energy & bounce back in time for your hols!
Thank you for the photo of the dicentra ( am I right? ) ....I don't have a garden so seeing yours always cheers me up. xxx
