Feeling very stressed this morning. We have no hot water and waiting on sse to get back to us and we have had to empty the cupboard so he can get to the boiler. Thank goodness we have heating. \I couldn't find the jumper i was looking to wear and it was waiting to be washed i mean how stupid am i. My hands hurt and my eyes are swollen as i wore makeup yesterday. Why can't i have a normal day just for once and be pain free. I have a busy few days with all the parades we have coming up this weekend.xxxxxxxxx

Hi Sylvi.
Sorry to hear your boiler is playing up - certainly pick their moments don't they.?
I am feeling the cold very much at the moment and although the heating is on I am snuggled up with my blanket, hot water bottles and a regular supply of hot tea.
My hubby is already walking round the house in shirt sleeves and sweating. He says he will be getting sunstroke soon it's that hot in here but I can't feel it.I am trying to keep heating at a compromise after all he does live here too.
I hope someone comes back to you soon about the boiler,in the meantime keep yourself warm, and I hope you enjoy your forthcoming parades.
Take care,stay warm.

At least someone is coming today so you can keep your heating on till then.
Sometimes if I have a lot of pain in hands I alternate hot and cold treatment.
Hold a bag of frozen peas for a few minutes then hold a mug of hot water or a hot water bottle.Dont know if you already this or if it works for you. Its, like everything else some folks they do some they don't.
Hope you can get some respite this afternoon.

Hello Sylvia,
Here I am, out of the blue again, but I'm so glad to know that your still posting on here. But, sorry to hear about your disastrous morning :((
Hopefully the jumper situation as resolved but importantly your hot water is flowing through you pipes again. Nothing worse than no Hot water or heating as the days get colder.
I have been through the mill a bit myself, but couldn't bring myself to write about it until now. But, I've been reading some of the posts and keeping up with things a bit. So many new RA sufferers, bless.
Take care Sylvi, June xx
