For about a week now, I have had streaming, actually spraying, eyes and a fizzing nose that won't go away. No other symptoms of a cold. I have had runny eyes for a while now but nothing like this.
Any similar experiences and possible solutions ?

Could it be an allergy of some sort? My brother started getting similar eyes/nose streaming and it turned out to be an allergy to mold spores, not saying it's that in your case though. Best getting it checked out with the GP.
Hi there I have RA and OA and I get allergy problems with my eyes since I've had this disease I take anti histymeans and have eyes drops which I use quite often
Does sound more like allergy to me. If you are OK taking over the counter antihistamines, then it might be worth seeing if they relieve it. (If you aren't sure about the antihistamines, then do ask a doctor or pharmacist first)
Eat a good swathe of blueberries each day. They will boost your immune system dramatically with only one side-effect - you will have less arthritic pain & inflammation.
(blackberries are by far the best for this but very difficult to obtain, whereas most supermarkets seem to have lots of blueberries these days.)
