Rats... my other advice is put a good movie on and eat chocolate until it's sorted (by itself or Drs).... blessedly useless advice for sure but I don't know what else to do with sore knees

usually this is because the patela is not tracking right under the knee cap and can be due to mussle wastage like the quad or the vmo mussle these two work in tandem. most hospitals will tell u to work the quad but unless the vmo is working with it it will give you a sore knee

rest ice elevate leg if its swelling.

when swelling goes down try vmo exersise and quad exersise see utube video
