Wedding anniversary and will be stuck at home.....

Here i am again,today is my 33yr wedding anniversary and it is raining and very windy here. I don't think i will be going very far today as i still don't feel well. The muscle i pulled last week is still giving me hell. It hurts to turn to my right side and if i move too quick it stabs me to let me know it is still there. The chest infetion is still there though i think it is starting to shift even though i still don't feel well. Oh well i will still keepo fighting and i think another pj day for me. Have a lovely weekend everone.xxxxxxx

Aww Sylvi you suffering a bad way yet again.You Have had a really tough few months.At least there seems to be some improvement oh the chest infection.

I had the same thing happen with my wedding anniversary this year.We are normally away on holiday for ours but had to not go on holiday this time as I had a restrictive medical schedule I had to stick to so,it would have been too disruptive.And the on the day itself I was poorly so we didn't go,out as planned either.BUT we put it off for the following week and when I Was better we celebrated it then.Your anniversary is a special day anyway whether you go,out or not so spend a nice day with your wonderful man and enjoy each other's company.Even if it's just over a cuppa and some biccies it's the 33 years together that matters.

Don't let a pulled muscle and a chest infection take that away from you both.

I know exactly what the disappointment feels like.This happens all too often,and when you're feeling under the weather as well it feels like an extra blow.I think being able to manage disappointment is part and parcel of managing RA and it's not always as easy as it sounds,but being warriors everyone carries on,and does their best.

Keep today's plans for next week or when you're up to it and you'll enjoy it even more.The weather may even be better too.If it's anything like here today it's squally rain and the wind has come up so I won't be going far myself today.

Well Sylvi there's a double incentive to get yourself up and running if you can ,but the same applies to the birthday ,if you're not up to it save it for another day.

Happy Anniversary, if the weather outside is as awful as you describe then the best place to be is home on the sofa watching some films then order in a takeaway later. Hopefully next year you can do something special but for now just rest and recuperate
