Well you all know i haven't been in best of health.Bear with me while rattle on. I have one good night then another night i don't sleep and i am down here on laptop until i get tired again. Most mornings i am still tired and i am tired all day. Today i am irretable and i could howl my eyes out. I have shoulder pain in my right shoulder and it has been there on and off for weeks now,but if i say anything i get told its fibro, know what i mean. I am soo fed up with not having a life. I am too tired to go out in the evenings and tired all through the day.

Good news i have joined a diet and exercise class so we will see how that goes. I have appt with dietician next week so they will see that i am making an effort to help my self. I have appt with respiratory the week after about sleep apnea as i have only 94% oxygen going into my body so there is problems there to be looked at. Well at least i am trying aren't i. My hands are suffering as well. I am starting to do a bit of walking too. I can get one up the village, but i can't do both ways yet. I am trying to do some walking everyday..

Thank you all for listening to me,i appreciate it. xxxx

If they still keep saying that shoulder is fibro, ask if you can have an ultrasound scan done on it just to make sure there isn't any inflammation. Ultrasounds are a really good way of identifying inflammation in peripheral joints like shoulders, and it will show up stuff that xrays won't show.

i agree with earthwitch on that Syliva, When my problem first started in my shoulders that's what i had, It never showed up at all when i had a xray in A&E, They then gave me a steroid injection in them, And things have been a lot better since, Good luck Shirley Xxx

Och Sylvia, well its good that you get to see the consultant tomorrow, I have the shoulder pain as well, it has been inflamed but the rheumys do not think it is ra but i think it is and the physio have always said it was as well. Despite you not feeling so good, you are being really proactive I do hope everything goes well tomorrow and if you could get the pain sorted out that would help alot. All the best and i really hope you have a good nights sleep tonight,

Good luck Sylvi. I will be asking my Rheummy about my sore shoulder too when I go later this month.

Hi Sylvi - I had awful pain in my shoulders in the months leading up to diagnosis and I don't have fibro. It's quite a common place to get RA so I think Earthwitch is right to suggest you ask for ultrasound. Well done you for joining the weight loss club and pushing yourself to keep moving everyday. Keep it up and don't let the Bu**ers get you down too much. Tilda xx

Thanks everyone,It is 0.10am. As you can see i can't sleep again, shoulder, left knee and hands ache and thats without the tinnitus giving me grief. I will see about an ultrasound as the pain in my shoulder hasn't gone away. I feel the harder i try the worse it gets,as soon as i start to try and get active something seems to say NO.

I will let you all know how i get on this morning and thanks everyone for your good wishes. Love sylvia.xxx

Good luck sylvia and hope you get some answers re the shoulder. I have had shoulder probs for sonme time and have had them both injected several times with a great deal of pain relief. Let us all know how you go on and gud on you for trying to get more active. seems a few of us have got things going on today. I have a rheumy appt too and hope to get a definite diagnosis but that doesnt seem to come easily for a lot on here

Good luck today Sylvie, I had shoulder pain but since I got the scan and they realised it was disc trouble and took out the disc it's much improved, so ask for further investigations. Your Xmas picture is lovely and well done for starting with a weight loss programme. I hope to get my head around it by next week! Love Axx
