MRI is done,but still in a lot of pain............

Well my mri is over and now it is a waiting game for the results. On Wednesday i worked on my sons garden and managed to pull a muscle in my back, I get up this morning and my back is causing me a lot of pain going down my leg as well. My fingers are very stiff this morning as well and they lock and i have to crack them to get them moving something i don't like doing. When my fingers hurt this much my rheumy nurse won't do anything for me because my bloods show my ra is under control. I despair i really do,but i just push through it and suffer because of it. Sounds like sciatica in your back and leg. Very painful. There are some stretches you can do that help. Google them. I cannot believe that they leave you like that with your hands. Seems very cruel. Best of luck I hope you get some relief soon

Sylvi, 8 months after I took mtx, my blood results were great. However, I was still in pain though very much reduced. I continue to take the same medication until today. How can your rheumy nurse just leaves you alone? I can't believe it really. May be you try to insist on getting something done for you.
