Hands hurt like hell this morning as it is so cold outside as we have had a hard frost here. I could cry this morning i am hurting that much. I also have a funny painful head. I am a terrible cry baby i know, but sometimes the pain gets so bad crying is the only way to get it out.xxxx

Oh Sylvi, you are not having an easy time, winter is awful, I hope your head gets better, when I had inflammation in my head I cudnt out my head on pillow, I couldn't really put my finger on how to explain my funny head pain, wasn't like a headache, very tender to touch. Hope it's not like that. Sending hugs, you take care xx

I totally get how you feel Sylvi. That pain and the feeling ill that goes with the inflammation, very quickly gets me tearful. I think tears are a healthy release though and expressing how we feel is so important too. Hope you feel better as the day goes on. Mornings are my worst time. The inflammation must accumulate overnight in our hands while we sleep. 3.30 I was awake today AArgh !

Have you ever tried warm wax treatment? Ive read post about it , and it does appear to give some people relief. Sending you a warm gentle hug xx

Sorry to hear that Sylvi. It's getting a lot colder recently, and a lot of people find that increases their pain! I hope you find some relief as the day goes on. x

Hope you feel better soon. We've had a sharp frost as well so not going out as I know I'll go over on the ice. Look after yourself and keep warm.x🌼

So sorry to hear that, Sylvi.

Beautiful berry photo, though!

Have you called the RA helpline or contacted your GP/NHS 24 Out of Hours?

If the headache is worse than you are used to experiencing with RA/meds, maybe it indicates something needing medical attention.

Hope you get relief over the weekend.

Angela :-)

Huge gentle hugs coming, Sylvie. I think you're perfectly entitled to good cry given all you have been through and this sudden damp cold weather is cruel to the joints. Wishing you better

Ps. Gorgeous photo. Is it a cotoneaster?

A cry is often the relief we need so there's no harm in that and I hope you feel inprovement soon. Keep warm and keep your mind occupied sweet lady as best you can. A warm wax hand bath is wonderful. I used to have them a lot at the hospital. I must get one too. Sylvi .. I also think you should ask Santa. Gentle hugs. xxxxx
