How is everyone feeling this sunny Sunday morning...........
Hi Sylvi. I'm exhausted today.
We are soon having our living room completely redecorated and new furniture. ....all very exciting but not the lead up to it! I'm having to clear drawers and units out and with awful sore wrists at the moment, it's not great 😦
The sun is shining and the garden needs tidying as well but think I will have to give that a big miss today which is frustrating.
Little steps at a time.....
Have a lovely Sunday and enjoy your holiday 😃 x
Feeling lazy ! And I'm feeellliiiinnnnngghh gooooood!
Lovely sunny morning here in Shropshire and so we are pootling off to lovely independent garden centre nestled down lovely country lanes where I shall have lovely time buying plants then going in their little cafe and enjoying a coffee and home made cake. Enjoy your holiday xx
As sunny as the day but not quite as bright! We went out food shopping & I looked for something Spring-like & bright to wear for when we meet up with friends on Tuesday & bought a hole punch, it's not a good fit lol!!! Hope you're taking it easy Sylvi, maybe sitting in the garden in a nice sheltered spot with a nice cuppa? x
My son and his wife and son (from Japan) are lounging in my living room. So I'm tired, but so very happy! I think we're going to explore one of the parks in Kelowna that has an awesome playground, too. My grandson's name is Ryusei, and I'm proud to say I can finally pronounce it! He called me baba, which is grandma in Japanese. They leave on Tuesday for the coast to see great-grandma. I'm sorry I've been so absent, but I'm lingering in the room
Hi. Me too I don't know what to do with myself, so watching Qvc and the jewellery channel Deadly as I'm on sick leave x
I'm being lazy today, I'm forcing myself to take it easy as I had a busy day yesterday. I met up with current and former work colleagues in town and we went for lunch and a wander around the shops. I had a lovely day, lots of catching up and laughter. I went to the supermarket this morning, put the shopping away and just sat out in the garden for a while with the paper. Its turned cold now so I've come inside for a cuppa and to catch up here. I've got a short day at work tomorrow as I'm sailing overnight to Brugge, spend Tuesday there and then sail back overnight. I'm going with my sister so that will be a nice trip. I will have to bring some chocolates back and a nice chocolate lollipop for my grand-daughter now she is old enough to have one, I'm sure she will like that. I hope you are all having a good day.
Sue. X
I'm having a lazy day today as I'm nackered from helping my lovely wife power washing the slabs in our back garden and decking yesterday , plus we had a wedding dance last night and it was a late night but very enjoyable meeting up with pals I've not seen for a wee while, plus my hands are swollen today so taking it easy xxx
Hello any old how
Hiya
I had a lovely restful few hours with a friend earlier on, then went out into the garden after lunch... My son was planting 3 apple trees for me while I supervised But the ground is very rocky, and he got grumpy and frustrated, and ended up stomping off... So I finished digging the last hole and planted two of the saplings... And now I HURT. I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow... O.o
Aww bless you darling,it is so neasy to over do it isn't it,god i know i do it often enough. Big gentle hugs to you.xxxxxx
Thank you Sylvi. Digging is something I haven't been able to do for years (I'm 2 years past a hip replacement!) but I hate seeing jobs left half-done, and the two apple trees that were left unplanted will die if they're not put in the ground soon, and I was cross with my son for his lack of patience... So... Oh I'm sore today!
Hi Sylvie, l have just woken up in ---------- Benidorm!, 1st day of 10 and ( not trying to rub it in ) the sun is shining, had RA, PMR and FIBRO for 4yrs but broke my Ankle in January so you can imagine how l felt!!. My hubby has been so good, cooking and cleaning, and as l couldn't get upstairs all the usual things that apply to a commode!!, what a lovely man l have, anyway, l thought bugger the money l'm taking him away for a break so here we are.
Sorry your not feeling as good as l am and just to rub it in a bit more I'll let you know how it goes when l get back.
