That blood pressure seems to me to be in the normal range.  However, if your heart is racing, that doesn't usually have anything to do with blood pressure.  Best check with your doctor.

Hi Sylvi...

It's not too bad at all but the bottom number is slightly low and with feeling like your heart is racing could mean you're a little dehydrated... Drink up :)

Very good but a bit low. Do you need to drink some water? Could be a bit dehydrated? Are you on glide or BP tablets that may need adjustment now you've lost wright, just some ideas, obviously check with gp. If still racing get check up obviously ASAP if you develop chest pain X

Would see your doc tho as its a bit on the low side now, the doc might be able to lower the drugs a bit now you have lost weight? Worth getting checked X

Those BP readings good, 2nd one bit low.  Are you on steroids presently?  They always make my heart race.  I have been using my asthma inhalers a lot these past few weeks and always have dodgy heart beats following, again it's the steroids in them.

Maybe worth a call to out of hours service just to discuss, xxx

I used my inhaler as well because my breathing wasn't very good at the time and i put the racing heart down to that and that was why i took my bp.xxxx

It is the bloodpressure of a young lady!

My husband is 70 and his BP is low all the time. The doctor said that was good so I hope yours is too, mine is always high.

The 128 is good, the 59 is a bit on the low side. But you don't say what you normally are. If it is normal for you it is okay.

Hi! Only just got the feed on my phone for your dilemma so a bit late with any advice. Your BP is pretty normal  but if you are on BP tablets I am presuming it used to be higher than that so yes worth a check with the GP on dosage. The racing heart could be Atrial Fibrillation and the low BP can go with that.  A good way of checking this is to check your pulse, or get someone to do it for you. It will usually feel slower than your heart feels & have some out of rhythm beats. A number of temporary  reasons could account for this and yes, it could well be dehydration, which would fit with the low BP. I believe it can also be set off by Sulphalazine, so I don't know what medication you're on. And finally, as with what happens with me, set off by some sort of inflammatory swelling - if you're on a flare up or if your gut lies too near your heart and is irritated/swollen & rubs against your heart & irritates it. Drinking lots of water can usually help. If stretching your general stomach area & drinking  lots of water don't help or it returns & stays with you for an hour you need to get it checked out by your GP in the next few days - preferably the same day whilst you have it. If it becomes continuous you need to go to A&E so they can give you something to reverse it

Good luck x
